Meaning of Om Mani Padme Hum

Om is the path, experience, and sound of the universe. Mani means the jewel or jeweline luminosity symbolizing the intention to be loving, caring, and compassionate. Padme refers to the pure lotus that comes out from the mud water to find light and bloom. The light represents wisdom on the path of enlightenment. And finally, Hum refers to the union between intention (mani) and wisdom (padme). Intention and wisdom cannot exist without the other and are considered wholesome. In short, the meaning refers to “The Jewel is in the Lotus”. And here at Lotus, these beautiful hand-crafted bowls are the pure gems that carry the history, significance, and culture of Nepal.

10" Ulti Bati Singing Bowls Nepal

Ulti Bati is hand-hammered and hand polished in Nepal where the base surface area is broader than other bowls. The wall is thinner so the bowl gives immense vibrations. The side of the wall is curved under the rim often used for bowls massage.

5.6" Tiger Print Tibetan Singing Bowl

Tiger print bowls are used for healing purpose specially to make 7 chakra sets. These 5 metal bowls give an appealing look and mesmerizing sounds.

7.5" Etched Tibetan Singing bowl

Eched Singing Bowls Nepal are inscribed with tibetan mantras or artwork of deities bringing the healing power in the bowls. It also contains carvings in a form of flower around the bowls. These bowls give the artistic feel and are visually appealing.

6.8" Mani Singing Bowl Nepal

Mani Bowl is a very precious high-quality singing bowls Nepal with pure rich tones. It is one of the unusual and rare bowl ever made with 8 metals where the 8th metal is Mercury which is used a few drops to purify all other metals. Mercury then evaporates during the heating process. 7.5" Thadobati Singing Bowl Nepal

Thadobati is one of the authentic 7 metals singing bowls made in Nepal which has a flat bottom and is thinner in size. The sides are straight and with high walls. The tones are relatively deep compared to other singing bowls.

Tingsha

Tingsha is a small cymbal that is used for prayers, kirtan, and rituals by people from different cultures of Nepal. The Newars who are traditional inhabitants of Kathmandu Valley use it for bhajans (kirtan). It is also used in Hindu Temples and Buddhist Monasteries for different ceremonies. Therefore, Tinghsa has significant healing power. While sound healing, these little cymbals can be used to either start or end the session. Tingsha produces harmonic high pitch lingering sounds.

Bells and Bajra of Nepal

Bell is a symbol of feminism, whereas Bajra is a symbol of masculinity. Together, these analytical instruments balances the masculinity and feminism within an individual. Bajra also denotes skills where as Bell denotes wisdom. Every temple you visit in Nepal, you will find the bells hanging to be striked Moreover, almost all houses in Nepal regardless of their religion have bells which has been passed down from generations.

Gongs are ancient musical instruments. They are employed in music and sound therapy because they make a rich, distinctive sound when struck. Gongs are thought to encourage physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being while bringing balance and easing stress. The gong’s distinctive sound produces a soothing and healing atmosphere.
