Meditation class in Kathmandu, Nepal
Meditation Session in Kathmandu, Nepal
Meditation is a practice that is available to everyone. It can reduce stress, increase focus, calmness, clarity and also promote happiness. Luang Pu Wat Paknam, the late Abbot of Wat Paknam, rediscovered Middle Way Meditation which we incorporate into our meditation session at Lotus. Moreover, the Abbot discovered that ‘The Center of the Body’ is the point of stillness or the gateway of The Middle Way. Which is around two-finger width above the navel. The center of the body which is also the center of the mind is where we need to lay our minds while meditating.
Although this technique was developed by the Lord Buddha, it is not just limited to Buddhists. Anyone willing to still their mind can practice, without conflict due to race or religion. Similarly, people from various religious backgrounds have experienced the benefits of Dhammakaya Meditation and have found no conflict with their profession of faith. Also, Guided meditations are included complimentary on some of our singing bowls relaxation sessions.
